TAMPA, Fla. – KeriCure, Inc., developer of novel, safe and breathable wound care products, has launched two new products designed for animal use. KeriCure's Tough Seal™ targets both small and large pets, and Champion Seal™ brings cutting edge wound care technology to the equine market.

"KeriCure is excited to introduce our comprehensive line of animal products," said KeriCure founder Dr. Kerriann Greenhalgh. "Our goal is to provide wound-care solutions for all, and being able to speed the healing process of animals in a safe, non-irritating way is very important to our company."

KeriCure, Inc. was formed to commercialize an advanced platform polymer technology developed by founders Greenhalgh and Dr. Edward Turos. KeriCure, a woman-owned small business, has exclusively licensed the HydroShield™ Technology from the University of South Florida.

Tough Seal™ is a water-based spray-on bandage that soothes skin irritations and forms a protective barrier against germs. Tough Seal™ helps speed the natural healing process for cuts, hot spots, bites, scrapes, burns, wounds, abrasion, lesions, skin allergies and dermatitis. The milder formula for dogs, cats, and small animals is non-toxic, non-irritating and hypoallergenic.

KeriCure's Champion Seal™ is designed for use on horses and livestock and the products' proprietary organic polymer acts as a "second skin" for safe, natural healing while blocking flies and germs, according to Greenhalgh. Champion Seal™ is biocompatible, waterproof, and aids healing in a wide variety of wounds and dermatological and skin conditions.

Both the Tough Seal™ and Champion Seal™ products can be purchased on the company's website (http://kericure.com/) and through Amazon. The company already has its first Tough Seal™ retail partner with Pet City in Land O'Lakes, Fla., and first Champion Seal™ retail partner with Foxwood Saddlery in Pinellas Park, Fla. KeriCure is currently in negotiations with one of the largest equine and pet product wholesalers and is gaining traction for Champion Seal™ with the support of local barns including West Coast Morgans and Five Gait Stables.

KeriCure has also developed Vet Seal™, a highly potent formula designed specifically for veterinary professionals to use on all animals, especially after surgery, facial lacerations, and other serious wounds. The company hopes to bring Vet Seal™ to market later this year with the support of local Tampa veterinarians.
