Quality Improvement Program
Mission
The Quality Improvement Program assists the University of South Florida (USF), its affiliate partners, and our researchers in performing human subject research of the highest ethical standards and promoting confidence in the integrity of human subject research at our institution; namely through provision of useful educational tools and outreach initiatives to human subject researchers and their study staff; and monitoring USF-Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved studies for compliance with Federal regulations, State laws, and institutional policies and procedures governing the USF Human Research Protections Program (HRPP).
Our place within the USF Organizational Structure:
The Quality Improvement Program is independent of the USF HRPP/IRB and serves as a key component of our AAHRPP-accredited Human Research Protection Program. The QI Program reports to the Director of Research Integrity & Compliance within Research & Innovation.
