"Proof of Indemnification"

In lieu of the Indemnification Clause found in most contracts, the University of South Florida replaces this clause with the following statement:

"The University is an institution of the State of Florida, and its "self insurance" limitations are provided by law. The University is provided with comprehensive general liability insurance with limits of coverage of $100,000 per person, $200,000 per occurrence, pursuant to the terms and limitations of Florida Statues, Section 768.28 and Florida Statues, Chapter 284 Part II."

A copy of the applicable policy should be included with the contract, upon its return to the agency/sponsor/corporation. For your convenience, a copy of each of the most frequently used policies are listed below and are in portable document format (pdf). These documents can be save to a file or opened and printed.
